Apply a base shade: of light caramel or creme Second, layer on your wet layer a darker tone brown allowing the color to bleed together Apply another layer of your base color and add the darkest shade overlapping the brown. Allow to blend, then set. Apply black or darkest brown creating darker areas to the design and just wait for it to dry. Apply So Over It Topcoat and you are done!

Great formula and shades for tortoiseshell mani

I bought these to do the translucent layered tortoiseshell look, and they were great for that! I saw one review that said the lightest shade isn’t necessary and agree, having tried with and without it. I’m not crazy about the wide brush and narrow bottle neck but it was worth it for the effect
