I bought Trust & Pixie Dust by Light Lacquer in hopes of finding a replacement for my beloved (and sadly discontinued) Charmed by KL Polish - still my all-time favorite nail polish. While nothing quite lives up to the nostalgia and perfection of Charmed, I have to say, Trust & Pixie Dust comes very close and brings its own kind of magic.

The shade is soft, feminine, and ethereal with just the right amount of sparkle. It catches the light beautifully without being over-the-top, making it versatile enough for everyday wear but still special enough to feel like a treat. It has that delicate, fairy-dust quality that makes your nails feel instantly polished and pretty.

If you are looking for a fairy purple, this is the one. Sooo pretty that hurts!

I was a little nervous ordering this polish as I hadn't ordered anything from lights lacquer before, but let me tell you- this blows all my other polishes out of the water! It's absolutely packed with shimmer and the pigments are so high quality. They somehow just grab the light at any angle and look so magical. Definitely a transformer in different lighting. It applies super smooth and is workable, but still dries quickly and completely. I get perfect coverage in 2 coats, however, it comes out more gold the more coats- so recently I've been layering it over a similar toned lilac jelly so that the base color comes through. It really looks amazing either way!

It has a beautiful yellow shimmer and pairs surprisingly well over banana split, gives a real 1960s Vegas aesthetic

It is such a beautiful polish! I preferred doing three coats but it looked opaque after two coats. It also lasted almost 2 weeks without a single chip! I got compliments on it too from strangers.

She’s my favorite, so sheer but the gold shimmer is so pretty. Best in 3 coats

Unfortunately this polish is more of a light gold shimmer with a sneezing of purple. I was really disappointed with the ratio and I will be treating this as a topper from now on.

The fantasy series truly hit the nail on the head with these colors. This is the shade I associate with Elain from ACOTAR. It's dreamy and flowery like her. The gold shimmer compliments that lavender base so well.
