Great variety of shades offered. Have loved them all so far.
This goes on so nice and totally opaque in two coats. Lasted over a week on me without any chipping. It's great on its own but gets extra amazing if you put one coat of frenemies over it like they showed on their stories, its a great combo. I can't speak to the magnetic aspect of it since I haven't tried that yet but just as is I highly recommend. Don't sleep on this one!
awesome
Very pretty polish - but it is DARK!!! It's a chocolate brown and the magnetic effect is not great.
Very strong metallic color, I love browns and this is definitely a gorgeous elegant color with its twist in metallic.
I love this color! I’m on the 3rd day with no chipping. My first time trying a magnetic polish. Very cool.
I usually don't wear a lot of warm tones or browns/bronzes/golds specifically, but the pictures of this polish and the rest from the Give Me the Night collection really sold the fantasy to me! It is gorgeous! And exactly as pictured. Speak Easy To Me is an antiqued bronze with a touch of purply undertones that give it a mystical touch. Super Freak is similar in its undertone, too.
As far as the magnetization goes, mine looks like it does in the pictures. The cateye stripe is very bright and visible (I haven't tried the aura/velvet effect with it yet). I saw another review saying theirs barely magnetizes, so be aware that the magnetic pigments might not be consistent from bottle to bottle? It's still beautiful unmagnetized as well.
I love this polish. I knew I liked it but I now love it. When they said it was a surprise magnetic, I had to get it. The magnitization is actually pretty good. It leaves a beautiful dimension and with a good glossy top coat, just gorgeous. I do have other brown magnetics, but they have the extra holo and sparkle. Which is still fine. I love them too, but there's just a classiness to this one. Instead of obvious blinding sparkle, there's a fine gold left after its magnetized. Paired this with the trios Super Freak best manicure I did all year.
The good: this is a gorgeous color. Like a cool-gilded whiskey, makes me want to hold a drink in a gold etched highball glass.
The bad: there’s pretty much no magnetic payoff on the nail. I can get a faint stripe directly in the bottle, but I think the swatch pictures are telling, because they don’t show a distinct stripe or true velvet effect nail. I did three thick coats trying to make it work. I hovered the wand between each coat trying for a cat eye effect, and velvet on one single nail. There is literally no difference. At first I thought it might be because the magnetic color is so similar to the base color, with with most magnetic polishes you can see the particles moving/gathering under the magnet, especially on coats two and three. Nothing with this color.
Verdict: I’ll absolutely wear this color because it’s stunning. I’m actually doing new years nails with this, Super Freak, and the coordinating gems and I really like it. But this was the first magnetic I’ve bought from this brand, and I probably won’t buy one again. LL does amazing things with cremes and crellies and jellies, and I feel like that’s their strong suit. I would be far happier if this were described as a frosted metal and have no qualms, but that it’s marketed as magnetic with zero payoff is disappointing.
The picture is my thumb with three thick coats, trying for a cat eye from top left to bottom right.
I put this color on and I am in love 🤩. The formula reminds me of Princess Penny for the finish. One of a kind and special.
