Meet Me At Space

This is a beautiful polish, but none of the polishes I’ve tried from LL last for more than a day. I’ve used cheaper polishes that last way longer than these. I’ve tried different top coats, roughing up my mail before painting, but nothing works. Really disappointed because like I said every polish is stunning. I just cannot deal with a polish that doesn’t last more than a single day of wear. Luckily I was gifted mine so I didn’t spend the money or I would’ve been even more upset. I will say I got the los barrios trio so I can’t speak for ALL polishes. But the three I got have no lasting power.

I was immediately interested in this shade as it looks like a little galaxy on your nails. I will say this shade really comes to life with a topcoat. It dries down a little flatter without one, which is kind of cool (it looks more stone-textured) but it turned glossy with a topcoat. Just an observation between coats! // It is a thick boy; this polish is packed with pigment and sparkles, so the consistency is fairly thick. That being said, your first coat may be patchy: mine was and I was a little worried, but I gave it a second to dry, this shade has a lot going on, I went heavier on the second coat and it turned out perfect, completely levelled itself, filled in patches, no need for another coat, I was able to cap edges without smudges and everything on the 2nd coat. Still dried super fast, and super shiny. // This shade was hard to photograph accurately, the pictures I attached feature one in light from a window and two using flash. I don’t think it does it justice like seeing it in person though. Shades like "Amethyst" are definitely more “wow” in their sparkle no matter the lighting, but I still love this shade for a moody & broody sparkle! // I also adore LL's smooth shimmers, I hope they never stop making them!

Saw some mixed reviews on the shimmer in this color, but mine is so shiny and beautiful!

I really love all of the colors that I chose, but I still need to figure out the proper method for application. I’ve noticed by the second or third day, the polish is already starting to chip. Not too sure what I need to try differently but I will definitely buy more colors once I do!

This is my first (& def not last) time ordering from lights lacquer! Shipping was fast and the shades are gorgeous! Not sure if it’s the ones I bought or the formula but they dry incredibly quick, always a huge plus for me!
