My First Rodeo

Color is beautiful. It doesn’t suit my skin tone well, but that’s my fault. I will say the shimmer is a TAD too subtle for me anyway

Such a beautiful, rich color. Just the right amount of sparkle.

I don't usually go out of my way to wear browns, since they're usually on the warm side, or overall not very unique. But, I took the leap on this one and I wasn't disappointed. It's a cool toned plummy red brown- and a shimmer! Now, it does go one very patchy and sheer at first. But the formula is thin, easy to work with, and since it dries so fast, it doesn't take long to build up to opacity for me.

I’ve been searching for the perfect rich chocolate brown for literally years, and finally found it with this polish! It isn’t too red, or too cool. It reminds me of hot cocoa! And the finish is so pretty!

This cool toned shimmery dusty brown is so beautiful! It is the exact shade of brown I love to wear in the fall.

This polish paints so thin and streaky I had to do 3+ coats. Because of that, it chipped right away. Beautiful and unique color, but it just doesn’t feel like a high quality polish

So disappointed in this polish. I’ve been a huge fan of Kathleen’s polishes since her KL Polish days. I hadn’t been drawn in with a launch of hers this year yet until this line. I purchased My First Rodeo and Reach For The Sky because the colors looked amazing and so unique. I hate these polishes. The formula feels cheaply made and the colors aren’t as uniquely beautiful as depicted online. The colors apply so pale and streaky and to get any sort of opaque fill, a third coat is required and then distorts the color to be even darker than desired while still being patchy. This collection is a big miss for me.
