HOW TO

Base It: Start with 1 coat of your favorite base coat. For best results, we recommend So Clingy—it grips your polish for longer-lasting wear.
Color On: Once your base coat is dry, apply 2–3 thin coats of your favorite polish. Let each coat dry completely.
Seal the Shine: Finish with 1 even coat of Totally Gelly over your dried polish. Be sure to cap the free edge to help prevent chipping.

I love this product. It gives your polish incredible shine and it also helps your manicure last longer. Every product I have purchased from Lights Lacquer is far superior to every brand I have ever used.

Cracked!

Manicure cracks upon slightest bends and even started damaging my actual nails underneath by allowing the bending at those certain points. I used it several times to see if there was some sort of issue with how I applied it or a different product and it acted the exact same way every single time.

2 broken nails in a week-nothing like gel

I used the base coat, polish and top coat all as instructed and two of my nails broke within the week. The polish fades and the “strengthening” top coat left my nails unprotected. Disappointed to have wasted so much money on the full manicure products, for what seems to be another aesthetic “instagram” brand that doesn’t deliver on quality. Now I have two insane looking nails I will have to pay for extensions to blend in with the natural nails I worked so hard to protect and grow out. The $5 hardening polish at cvs works better than this stuff.

cracked immediately

I was excited for this top coat since my nails are very bendy and I like hard/supportive top coats, but it cracked on the first day. By day 3 I had shatter marks across multiple nails and any slight movement of my nail caused more cracks to form in the top coat. My nails extend less than a 1/4 inch past my fingertips and I've never had a top coat behave this way before or since. I can only see this top coat working as advertised if your nails do not extend beyond your nail beds, or you have nails that don't bend or flex at all.
