Maybe it was the lighting, maybe it was the base coat, which I noticed makes the colors darker than if used without a base, but you could barely see any red. I actually would've liked the color so much more without the flakes because it just made the nail polish a little bumpy (even with a her top coat) and didn't add any dimension to the color. I do love the deep deep red but I would've loved it if it had more red to it. I was hoping this would be similar to her KL Polish in the shade Scorpio, which in my opinion is her most amazing shade, but it wasn't so I was a little disappointed. It is nice a color and formula overall but if I'm being honest I wouldn't purchase it again.

Color is perfect! Just did the nails, I hope it wears as good as it looks!

This was 1 of the 1st LL polishes I bought a couple yrs ago & im wearing it now on my freshly filled nails. It’s just so deep and rich and shiny delicious ❤️

I bought quite a few colors and they are all beautiful! My only issue so far is when I use both the base and the top coat, the polish just peels right off within a day. It seems to wear better without the base coat. But I cannot wait to add more shades/colors to my collection.

This color is sultry and gorgeous! I wish the little flakes were a bit more visible though, this could very much pass for a normal cream polish.

I was waiting so long for a burgundy color to replace Mindy from her KL Polish line. This was my first purchase from Lights Lacquer. This color is defiantly more of a vampy burgundy, not a red. The formula of this one is quite thin and required 2-3 coats but dries very fast so that was not an issue. The red flakes are very subtle and this comes off more as a cream finish. The brush is the same wonderful brush from her previous line which keeps me buying from Kathleen exclusively over any other polish brand. This color did pick up when a top coat was applied so make sure it’s fully set before applying a top coat. Overall a beautiful polish! I’ll be back for more.

Super unique - LOVE this matte! The gorgeous flakes inside this deep, ruby red are absolutely stunning!
