even with a strong magnet, the magnetic is weak. the color is pretty despite not being what is swatched above but mooncat illusionist is much, much better. save your money. pretty much any other indie polish maker is better.

Color is pretty but I can’t for the life of me get the magnetic finish to work. I bought the LL magnet and used it. I watched a bunch of tutorials. The polish doesn’t move or react to the magnet at all on my nails. Not sure if it’s user error but I see other reviews saying the same thing so I’m thinking it’s the polish itself which is disappointing. Otherwise the polish is great quality, very pigmented, and long lasting on the nails. Just not magnetic as advertised in my experience!

This color is not at all like the swatches. I was expecting maroon to purple and instead it’s almost completely brown. I’ve tried three different lightings and I still can’t replicate it. It’s described as burgundy and I saw little to none. The magnetic effect is also almost impossible to see. I used a 30lbs horseshoe magnet and it was barely visible as a velvet effect. I usually love LL polishes but this was such a disappointment.

This is my first ever metallic. Like the others, I was disappointed at first by the color, because it looked more grey/brown, but I put 3 coats on my toes and used a fairly powerful magnet, and it looks a lot more like what's advertised (deep purple with reddish undertones with more noticeable glitter). I think 2 coats is enough, but I was just trying it out. My magic wand magnet did not arrive in my package, so I wasn't able to use that, so maybe that magnet is not powerful enough for this polish? I have not yet been successful in doing a cateye design, just in magnetizing it.

Dies not have the same sparkle or glitter shown in advertisements

While the sparkle in this polish is pretty, I would say it’s hardly red/ burgundy at all like they describe. More accurately it’s a gunmetal brown color, so if you want a true burgundy this is probably not the color you want

Firstly, I'm used to working with gel but recently had to resort back to regular polish. I was so excited to see a magnetic polish. Unfortunately, its either not working with my magnetic stick or it's user error. Also, it doesn't look at maroon/red on the nail?

The color is totally off. I am not a fan at all.

This is pretty and full coverage in one coat but it’s very brown/bronze and the magnetic pigment is not very strong, even with a 30lb. Not a bad color but I probably would haven chosen a different color had I known.
